Meet the Groomer!

Katie has been professionally grooming for 8 years, and has played an active role in animal welfare as well as the industry since childhood.  

She spent her younger years as an active member, leader and volunteer to the FFA, 4H, and a number of Animal Shelters and Sanctuaries; as well as having played a vital role in assisting in the rescue and rehabilitation of numerous dogs and horses.

Katie grew up in the Midwest where she spent many years training horses in a variety of disciplines alongside her sister.
She has always excelled in forming and maintaining a trusting bond with the animals she has worked with and rehabilitated- Regardless of their species or background.

Katie is a Certified Animal Reiki Practioner, and holds current Certifications in Pet CPR & First Aid.

She now resides in North Georgia with her husband Max, Daughter Pheona, and their 3 dogs- Moo, Scout, and Waffles.

Katie loves to read, and enjoys partaking in a number of outdoor activities such as spelunking, kayaking, and hiking in her free time.
